عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " دِرْهَمٌ أُعْطِيهِ فِي عَقْلٍ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ مِائَةٍ فِي غَيْرِهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، قَالَ الذَّهَبِيُّ : فِيهِ جَهَالَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A dirham that I give towards a blood money is dearer to me than spending a hundred dirhams on anything else."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abd al-Samad bin Abd al-A'la, about whom al-Dhahabi said: there is some unknownness (jahalah) about him.
