Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 10743

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said concerning a person from whom retaliation is taken and who then dies: "That person's blood money will be taken in retribution, and then the blood money of the wound will be deducted from it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain is broken (munqati'). Its chain contains Abu Ma'shar, who is da'if (weak).
