بَابُ لَا تَعْزِيرَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمُرُوءَةِ وَالْكِرَامِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا

وَعَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَنَا الشَّاهِدُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ لَا يَعْثُرَ عَاقِلٌ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ لَا يَعْثُرَ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ ثُمَّ لَا يَعْثُرَ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَ مَصِيرَهُ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ " . " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I bear witness concerning Allah Almighty that whenever an intelligent person stumbles, Allah Almighty raises him up; whenever he stumbles, Allah Almighty raises him up; whenever he stumbles, Allah Almighty raises him up, until Allah Almighty makes Paradise his final abode."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
