بَابُ حَدِّ الْقَذْفِ وَمَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ
The prescribed punishment for false accusation of adultery, and the warning about it

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - جَلَدَهُمْ ثَمَانِينَ ثَمَانِينَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الْكَلْبِيُّ وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ . وَفِي مَنَاقِبِ عَائِشَةَ حَدِيثٌ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي جَلْدِهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had them given eighty (80) lashes each.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin al-Sa'ib al-Kalbi, who is a liar (kadhdhab). In the chapter on the virtues of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) a hadith from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) will come, in which it is mentioned that they will be flogged on the Day of Resurrection as well.
