Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Jews brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) a Jewish man and a Jewish woman who had committed adultery, and both of them were muhsan. So by the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the two of them were stoned. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was among those who stoned them.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and he said in it: From Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him)
this is narrated only with this chain. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, whose hadith is hasan (good) though there is weakness in him; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
