وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَأَمْرُهُمَا سُنَّةٌ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) carried out stoning, and the practice of these two (that is, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with them) is Sunnah.
