بَابٌ فِي الْحَدِّ يَثْبُتُ عِنْدَ الْإِمَامِ فَيُشْفَعُ فِيهِ
A prescribed punishment established before the ruler, and then intercession is made for it

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ حَالَتْ شَفَاعَتُهُ دُونَ حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي سَخَطِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَنْزِعَ " . وَهُوَ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي الْأَحْكَامِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Any man whose intercession stands in the way of one of the hadd punishments of Allah Almighty remains continually under the displeasure of Allah Almighty until he withdraws from it (from obstructing it)." This narration in full is in the chapter on rulings.
