Urwah, among the names of those who were killed on the day of the Bridge of al-Mada'in, mentioned these persons: from the Ansar, of the branch Banu Za'wara', Sayyiduna Aws bin Atik bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him); from the Ansar, of the branch Banu Amr bin Mabdhul, Sayyiduna Tha'labah bin Amr bin Muhsan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Thabit bin Atik (may Allah be pleased with him); from the Ansar, of the branch Banu al-Najjar, Sayyiduna Zayd bin Suraqah bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him); from the Ansar, of the branch Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then of Banu Za'wara', Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it with a single chain. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, whose narrations are hasan (good), and there is weakness in him.
