Yasir narrates: Sayyiduna Amr bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to narrate this hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Amr bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he and his people, Juhaynah bin Zayd, should hold their position on the day of the battle with Hawazin. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: "O people of Juhaynah, stay behind the Banu Sulaym; if they become agitated, then put your weapons to the napes of their necks and their battle cry." On that day one clan of them did become agitated, called the Banu Usayyah, because they had disobeyed Allah and His Messenger, and the people of Juhaynah killed them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Juhaynah, and they advanced toward Hawazin, and he turned Sulaym away from their position. On that day Allah Almighty routed them, and there was much killing among them. On that day Sayyiduna Amr bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) killed Ibn Dhi al-Burdayn al-Hilali, and Juhaynah acquitted themselves excellently in it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.
