وَعَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ قَالَ : قَتَلْتُ عَبْدَ الْعُزَّى بْنَ خَطَلٍ وَهُوَ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِسِتْرِ الْكَعْبَةِ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Barzah al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I killed Abd al-Uzza bin Khatal while he was clinging to the coverings of the Ka'bah.
