Urwah narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar, from the Quraysh branch of Banu Abd Manaf, Sayyiduna Thaqf bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) drank the cup of martyrdom; he was an ally of theirs and belonged to Banu Asad bin Khuzaymah. From the Ansar branch of Banu Zurayq, Sayyiduna Mas'ud bin Sa'd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) (drank the cup of martyrdom). From Banu Amr, Sayyiduna Abu al-Sayyah (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are) Sayyiduna Abu Dayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) (drank the cup of martyrdom).
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah; there is weakness in its chain, and his hadith is hasan (good).
