وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : كَانَتِ الْهُدْنَةُ بَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَبَيْنَ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ أَرْبَعَ سِنِينَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: At al-Hudaybiyah, a truce of four years was made between the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people of Makkah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
