عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَنْتَ رَسُولٌ إِلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ ، فَقُلْ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّلَامَ ، وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِثَلَاثٍ : لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ ، وَإِذَا تَخَلَّيْتُمْ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا ، وَلَا تَسْتَنْجُوا بِعَظْمٍ وَلَا بِبَعْرَةٍ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ أَبِي الْمُخَارِقِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You are a messenger to the people of Makkah! Tell them: Indeed the Messenger of Allah conveys his greetings of peace to you and commands you to do three things: do not swear oaths by other than Allah; when you relieve yourselves, do not face the qiblah nor turn your backs to it; and do not cleanse yourselves with bone or with dung.
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Karim bin Abi al-Mukhariq, who is da'if (weak).
