Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Siyabah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on one of his journeys. He wished to relieve himself, so he commanded two trees, and they joined together with one another. (After he had finished relieving himself) he commanded them, and they both went back to their own places, where they had grown.
Imam Ahmad and others recorded it; its various chains will come in the chapter on the signs of Prophethood. The narrators of this report have been declared trustworthy, although there is disagreement about some of them.
