وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِيدَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : أَشْرَفَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى أَهْلِ الْقَلِيبِ فَقَالَ : " يَا أَهْلَ الْقَلِيبِ ، هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا ؟ " قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَهَلْ يَسْمَعُونَ ؟ قَالَ : " يَسْمَعُونَ كَمَا تَسْمَعُونَ ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ لَا يُجِيبُونَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سِيدَانَ مَجْهُولٌ .
Abdullah bin Sidan narrates from his father: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards the people of the pit and said: "O people of the pit, have you found what your Lord promised you to be true?" The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, do they hear?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They hear just as you hear, but they cannot reply."
