Due to lack of rain, the livestock has perished, and the family is hungry. Please pray to Allah.” The Prophet raised his hands and prayed, then clouds gathered like mountains. Before he had even descended from the pulpit, I saw rain flowing on his blessed beard. The next Friday, the same villager or someone else stood up and said, “O Messenger of Allah! (Due to excessive rain) buildings have collapsed and the livestock has drowned. Please pray to Allah for us.” The Prophet raised his hands and said, “O Allah! Let it rain around us but not upon us.”

● Belief in the Lordship of Allah Almighty

❀ And Allah Almighty has said:

“And when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins—their descendants and made them testify concerning themselves, [saying to them], ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They said, ‘Yes, we testify.’ [This was] lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, ‘Indeed, we were of this unaware.'”

Hadith 2:

Sheikh Hamza Zain has said it is “Sahih al-Isnad.”

And Sayyiduna Abi bin Ka’b (RA) explained the command of Allah Almighty, “And when your Lord took from the children of Adam—from their loins—their descendants,” that Allah gathered them (after bringing them forth), made them male and female, created them in different kinds, then gave them form and assembled them. They spoke (according to Allah’s will). Afterwards, He took a covenant from them and made them bear witness concerning themselves, saying, “Am I not your Lord?” They testified in affirmation (then) Allah said:

I bear witness over you by the seven heavens and the seven earths, and I also bear witness over you by your father Adam, so that on the Day of Resurrection you do not say that you had no knowledge of this. Believe that there is no true deity except Me, and there is no Lord besides Me. You must not associate anyone with Me. Indeed, I will continue to send My messengers to you who will remind you of the covenant and promise with Me, and I will reveal My books to you. They said, We bear witness that You are our Lord and deity; there is no Lord for us except You, and there is no deity for us besides You. Thus, they acknowledged these words, and Adam was elevated and shown to all; Adam was looking towards them. He saw among them the wealthy and the poor, as well as the beautiful and the ugly. Adam asked, O my Lord! Why did You not make Your servants equal? Allah replied, I desired that My gratitude be shown. Also, Adam saw those prophets who were like shining lanterns, their light was evident. A special covenant was taken from them related to prophethood and messengership. This is explained in Allah’s statement, “When We took the covenant from the prophets,” up to Allah’s saying “Jesus, son of Mary,” meaning Jesus was also among those souls, as his soul was sent to Mary. It is narrated that Jesus’ soul was placed into Mary’s womb through her mouth.

Then the People of the Gospel were given the Gospel, and they worked until Asr, then they too became incapable, so they were also given one Qirat each. Do you find this punishment for the adulterer in your book? They said:

Yes. Then he called one of their scholars and said:

I swear by Allah who revealed to Moses at night, is this the punishment for adultery in your book? He remained silent. And if you had not sworn me by this oath, I would not have told you. In our book, the punishment for adultery is stoning, but among us, many honorable people began committing adultery, so when we caught a prominent person in adultery, we would release him, and when we caught a poor person, we would carry out the punishment on him.

He followed a certain way until he reached the place where the sun sets, and he found it setting in a murky spring. Near it, he found a people. We said, ‘O Dhul-Qarnayn, either punish them or treat them with kindness.’ He said, ‘As for him who does wrong, we will punish him; then he will be returned to his Lord, who will punish him with a severe torment. But as for him who believes and does good deeds, he will have a reward of goodness, and we will speak to him from our command with ease.’ Then he followed another way until he reached the place where the sun rises, and he found a people for whom We had not made any shelter against it. Such is the account, and We have encompassed all things in knowledge. Then he followed a way until he reached between two mountains, and he found a people who could hardly understand speech. They said, ‘O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?’ He said, ‘That in which my Lord has established me is better, but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam.’ Bring me sheets of iron.’ Until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, ‘Blow [with bellows].’ Until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, ‘Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper.’ So they were unable to climb it, nor were they able to make a hole in it. He said, ‘This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and the promise of my Lord is ever true and certain.'”

I pity you; if I (as the Messenger of Allah) am not just, then who in the world will be just?

O Messenger of Allah! (He seems to be a hypocrite) Allow me, I will behead him. The Prophet ﷺ said:

No, some of his followers (in my Ummah) will be born (i.e., external apostates). You will consider your prayer insignificant compared to their prayer, and your fasting insignificant compared to their fasting (but despite all these things) they will be so far removed from the religion of Islam as an arrow that passes through a hunted animal. Look at the arrowhead; there is no sign on it (no blood, no flesh). Then look at the shaft; there is nothing there either. Then look at the wood; there is nothing there either. Then look at the feathers; the same condition. It has left behind all the flesh and blood and come out from the woman. These people will be born at a time when there will be division among the people (they will not be united under one Caliph). Their sign is that among them will be a man whose one hand will be soft and flabby like a woman’s breast or a lump of flesh. Hazrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (RA) says:

I testify that I heard this Hadith from the Holy Prophet ﷺ and fought alongside Hazrat Aliؓ against those people (in Nahrawan). The bodies were searched, and then it was seen that the condition of that person was exactly as the Holy Prophet ﷺ had said. (One of his hands was like a breast)

And Hazrat Urwah narrated that Hazrat Zubairؓ had a dispute with an Ansari regarding a stream in Maqam Harrah. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:

Zubair, first water your own garden, then give water to your neighbor. Upon this, the Ansari said, “Because they are your maternal cousins.” Hearing this, your ﷺ face changed, and He said, “Zubair! Water your garden and hold back the water until the reservoir is full, then release it for your neighbor.” This time, you ﷺ clearly gave Zubair his full right because the Ansari had said something that naturally caused anger. Earlier, you had shown leniency in your judgment for both of them. Hazrat Zubair (RA) says that in my opinion, this verse was revealed regarding this incident: “By your Lord, they will not be believers until they make you (O Muhammad) judge in their disputes.”

I have named you Al-Mutawakkil (the one who relies on Allah). You are neither ill-tempered nor harsh, nor do you raise a commotion in the marketplace, nor do you repay evil with evil. Rather, you forgive and pardon. And Allah will not take them away until through them He rectifies the corrupted nation so that they say: There is no deity except Allah. And through this declaration, they will open the blind eyes, deaf ears, and closed hearts.

Then Allah will say, “I concealed your faults in the world, and today I forgive you.” Then the book of good deeds will be given to him. Upon this answer, he is told, “Look, this is a place in Hell, but Allah has built a house for you in Paradise in exchange for it.” The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:
