30- What is the meaning of Tawhid of Names and Attributes?

This tawhid refers to those names and attributes of Allah the Almighty which Allah Himself has mentioned for Himself, or which the Noble Messenger ﷺ has mentioned for Allah the Almighty in authentic hadiths. These names and attributes are established for Allah the Almighty in such a way that there is no resemblance or likeness in them to any created being. We affirm these names and attributes for Allah the Almighty without any distortion of their meaning (ta’wil) and without denying their meaning, as the saying of Allah the Almighty is:

لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

“There is nothing like Him, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.”
