❖ Post-9/11 Western Agenda: Reconstructing Islam ❖
Since 9/11, the West has pursued an agenda to reshape Islam into a form aligned with their secular ideals. Their objective is to create a version of Islam that:
➤ Abandons Shariah,
➤ Rejects the concept of Khilafah, and
➤ Eliminates the significance of Jihad.
The goal is to build a soulless, compliant society that conforms to Western godless liberalism, where Muslims feel pride in surrendering before their enemies—even at the cost of sacrificing their foundational religious principles.
✿ Targeting Muslim Women: The Hijab Controversy
Across Turkey, France, and Algeria, Muslim women face systematic harassment for wearing the Hijab. Western nations increasingly promote such aggressive secularism.
Politicians like Jack Straw have audaciously voiced opinions on Muslim women’s attire. Who gives them the right to decide how Muslim women should dress?
Meanwhile, Egypt’s Minister of Culture Farouq Hosni openly mocked the Hijab, calling it a symbol of backwardness—a statement that reflects a dangerous cultural duplicity meant to mislead Muslim youth.
✦ The Influence of Western Culture
Western society, trapped in immorality and substance abuse, is no model for dignity. Yet many young Muslims, mesmerized by the West, idolize it more than the West itself does. Ironically, such individuals are scorned even in Western circles.
The push for “moderation” by figures like the Minister of Culture is merely a cover for promoting shamelessness and indecency under the guise of progress. If moderation means corrupting our faith, then it’s time to question its true motive.
✿ Preserving Islamic Identity
On a recent visit to Cairo, when the author refused to shake hands with Sheikh al-Azhar Tantawi, she was labeled an extremist. Yet she feels honored to emulate the Prophet ﷺ, not those who compromise religion under societal pressure.
Is wearing a Hijab truly a mark of extremism? How ironic that faithful adherence is now seen as radicalism, and religious compromise is praised as “moderation”.
✦ A Call to the Youth of Islam
O youth of Islam! Before this distorted version of Islam spreads across the Ummah, rise up and confront it.
➤ Expose the hybrid Islam being marketed,
➤ Awaken those lost in music and mocking the Mujahideen,
➤ Revive the spirit of Islamic pride and authenticity.
✿ Remembering Salahuddin Ayyubi
When Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi was asked why he never smiled, he responded:
“How can I smile when Jerusalem is under Crusader occupation?”
What would Salahuddin say if he saw today’s youth? Would he smile at the heedlessness and cultural intoxication that now plagues us?
