Virtue of Sūrah al-Fatḥ in the Light of Authentic Aḥādīth
❖ Report from Sayyidunā ʿUmar bin al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله عنه
Arabic Text:
لقد أنزلت على الليلة سورة لهي أحب إلى مما طلعت عليه الشمس، ثم قرأ
﴿ إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا ﴾
📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī: 4833
Translation:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Tonight, a sūrah has been revealed to me which is dearer to me than all that the sun shines upon.”
Then he recited:
‘Verily, We have granted you a clear victory.’ (Sūrah al-Fatḥ: 1)
