Question:
Are jinn disobedient like humans? What is the evidence for this?
Answer:
Allah Almighty says:
“And indeed, We have created many of the jinn and mankind for Hell. Their hearts are with which they do not understand, and their eyes are with which they do not see, and their ears are with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.”
Meaning, We have created many jinn and humans for Hell, but they will perform deeds that lead them there.
«لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ بِهَا» meaning they do not benefit from the limbs of the body, which Allah has made a means of guidance.
«أُولَٰئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ» meaning these are the people who neither listen to the truth nor help it, nor do they see guidance. They are like animals who cannot benefit from these senses.
