Do all matters of Satan occur with the left hand?
Answer:
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah رضي الله عنه states that I heard the Prophet Muhammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say:
إذا دخل الرجل بيته ذكر الله تعالي د ځوله و عند طعامه قال الشيطان: لا مبيت لكم ولا عشاء، وإذا دخل فلم يذكر الله تعالي عند دخوله، قال الشيطان: أدركتم المبيت، وإذا لم يذكر الله تعالي عند طعامه قال: أدركتم المبيت والعشاء
“When a person enters the house and recites a supplication upon entering and before eating, Satan says to his followers: You have no place to spend the night and no evening meal. But when the person does not recite the supplication upon entering the house, Satan says to his followers: You have found a place to spend the night. Then when the person also does not recite the supplication before eating, Satan says to his followers: You have found a place to spend the night and also food to pass the evening.”
Muslim has added more.
لا يأخذ بها ولا يعطي بها
“Neither should anyone take or give anything with the left hand (because Satan takes and gives with the left hand).”
