The Deception of Missionaries: Trading Faith for Bread

Christian missionary campaigns often target remote and impoverished regions, preying on vulnerable populations. These Bible-wielding NGOs distribute food and medicine under the guise of “humanitarian aid,” but their hidden agenda is to buy people’s faith in exchange for basic necessities.

But here’s the real question:
Despite their tireless efforts, which segment of our society have these missionaries truly succeeded in converting to Christianity? The people they attract are often driven by desperation and dire need—not conviction. Can these missionaries name a single prominent Muslim scholar or thinker who embraced Christianity after rigorous research or theological debate?

Do they have a list of educated, rational individuals who sincerely left Islam for Christianity due to finding “truth” in Christian doctrine or because the Church corrected some perceived flaw in Islam?

Contrast this with Islam’s growing influence in the West:
We can present an extensive list of educated Western individuals who embraced Islam—not because they were hungry or impoverished, not for visas or medical treatment, and certainly not for financial gain.

These reverts to Islam are scholars, writers, public speakers, and spiritual seekers who document their journeys in books, build Islamic centers, and represent Islam on media platforms. Many of them are now role models for Muslim youth worldwide.

Can Christian missionaries, with their billion-dollar budgets, point to even a handful of Christian converts from Islam who match this intellectual and spiritual caliber?

While some still claim that “Islam spread by the sword,” today’s global reality tells a different story. Even in an age where Muslims are politically weak, Islam is the fastest-growing religion—especially in the West.

So we must ask:
What sword is Islam using today to spread?
Clearly, the real power is not material—it’s the truth itself. As the Qur’an says:

❝Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts within the breasts that are blind.❞
(Surah Al-Hajj 22:46)
