✿ Ruling on Sajdah Sahw in Janazah Prayer
❖ Sajdah sahw is not performed in the funeral prayer.
If the Imam makes a mistake, the appropriate solution is:
① A follower (muqtadi) may correct the Imam by prompting (luqmah).
② The Imam should correct his mistake accordingly.
✿ Additional Clarification
✔ If something is omitted that is not obligatory (wājib), the funeral prayer will still be considered valid, In shā’ Allāh.
✔ In the Janazah prayer, only Surah Al-Fatiḥah is obligatory.
