✿ Wailing and Lamenting Over the Deceased Will Result in Severe Punishment on the Day of Judgment

❀ Ḥadīth 1:

**
Abū Mālik al-Ashʿarī رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The woman who wails (over the dead), if she does not repent before her death, will be raised on the Day of Judgment wearing a garment of molten copper and a coat of scabs.”

📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim – Kitāb al-Janā’iz – Bāb al-Tashdīd fī al-Niyāḥah: 2160

❀ Ḥadīth 2:

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, Allah does not punish for the tears of the eye or the sorrow of the heart, but He punishes because of this” — and he pointed to his tongue.”

📚 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī – Kitāb al-Janā’iz – Bāb al-Bukāʾ ʿinda al-Marīḍ: 1304

✦ Benefit (فائدہ):

✔ If a person cries loudly, wails, and shouts in grief, this brings punishment,
❖ But if the heart is sorrowful and tears flow from the eyes without loud wailing, then there is no harm in it.
