Can voluntary or other Sunnah prayers be offered after the Fajr Adhan and before or after the Sunnah of Fajr?
❖ Answer
After the Adhan of Fajr, the following prayers may be performed:
① The Sunnah of Fajr
② Two Rak’ahs for entering the mosque (Tahiyyat al-Masjid)
③ Two Rak’ahs after performing Tawaf
④ Missed Witr or obligatory prayers
All of these prayers are permissible in light of those Ahadith that prove their permissibility. These specific prayers are exceptions to the general prohibition on performing other voluntary prayers at that time.
