Is Iqamah Necessary for a Second Congregation in the Mosque?

Question:
If the congregation (Jama‘ah) has already been performed in a mosque, is it necessary to call the Iqamah again for a second congregation?
Answer:
Alhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ‘ala Rasulillah, amma ba‘d!
If a congregation has already been established in a mosque, and later another group arrives and wishes to offer prayer in congregation, then in such a case it is Mustahabb (recommended and preferable) to call both Adhan and Iqamah again.
It is not correct to omit them; rather, they should be called in order to act upon the Sunnah and so that the reward and virtue of prayer are not diminished.
