A Wife Intending to Endow All Her Wealth to Deprive Her Husband and Family from Inheritance
If the intention is to establish a valid endowment (waqf) during one’s lifetime using actual, tangible wealth, and it is for charitable purposes without the intention of depriving the heirs, then there is no obstacle in this.
However, if the intention is to make the endowment effective after death, it is only permissible for non-heirs within the limits of one-third of the estate or less.
