❖ The Ruling and Importance of Sujood al-Tilawah in the Qur’an

❀ The Question
Are the prostrations of recitation (Sujood al-Tilawah) mentioned in the Qur’an obligatory to perform, or are they not necessary?
❀ The Answer
Alhamdulillah, was-salatu was-salamu ‘ala Rasoolillah, amma ba‘d!
◄ Sujood al-Tilawah is not obligatory (fard).
◄ However, it is Sunnah, and performing it brings reward. Therefore, it should not be neglected.
