◈ Liberalism: A Slogan of Freedom or a Conspiracy of Atheism? ◈

❀ The Ambiguity in Defining Liberalism ❀

Whenever the subject of liberalism arises, it is often entangled in philosophical complexity and definitional confusion. This ambiguity is not only prevalent among the general public but even among intellectuals and policymakers, making it difficult to reach practical conclusions.

The public discourse on liberalism is more about persuasion than clarity—a form of ideological salesmanship, aiming to market a particular worldview without disclosing its true essence.

❀ The Vague Appeal of Liberalism ❀

Unlike its predecessors such as communism or socialism, which clearly stated their goals, liberalism rarely reveals its full agenda. Its true face only emerges when circumstances favor its dominance.

The core objective of liberalism is to eventually promote blatant disbelief (kufr) and apostasy (irtidād). This agenda is so alarming that even a minimally conscious Muslim would shudder upon realizing it. Therefore, early intellectual resistance is essential.

❀ The Claims of Liberalism vs. Its Contradictions ❀

Liberalism is widely known as an advocate of freedom, but the critical question is: freedom from what?

If it truly championed universal liberty, it would have supported the struggles of Kashmir, Palestine, and Chechnya. But liberalism never stands with such causes. In truth, its definition of freedom is limited to personal lifestyle and indulgence—not political liberation or justice.

❀ The Western Origins of Liberalism ❀

The liberal movement in Europe began during the struggle to escape the authority of monarchs and the Church. But today, even after centuries of complete secular democracy, liberalism continues to expand.

This raises a serious question: What is liberalism still seeking freedom from, now that the Church and monarchy no longer dominate? The answer is clear: its real target is not kings or priests—it is moral and religious values themselves.

❀ The Real Target of Liberalism: Moral and Divine Values ❀

The true aim of liberalism is to undermine the universal ethical values taught by the Prophets and Divine revelation, especially those upheld by Islam.

Among these are:

✔ Modesty (ḥayāʾ)
✔ Moral discipline
✔ Spiritual accountability

Liberalism associates these values with obsolete Church dogma and attempts to erase them from society altogether.

❀ Individual Freedom or Rebellion Against God? ❀

Liberalism emphasizes individual autonomy—each person should make life decisions without interference from religion or the state.

But in reality, this freedom is designed to detach man from God and turn him into a rebel against divine authority.

❀ Church Traditions or Prophetic Legacy? ❀

Liberal advocates aim to eliminate Western moral values, branding them as remnants of the Church. However, these values are, in fact, the legacy of the Prophets, embraced across civilizations for centuries.

Therefore, to abolish them is not progress, but open rebellion against divine guidance.

❀ Liberalism: A Unique Form of Disbelief ❀

Liberalism is not an ordinary form of disbelief. It is a systematic and ideological rebellion that seeks to dismantle:

– Belief in God
– Divine law
– Human moral instincts

In fact, the symptoms of the End Times foretold by the Prophet ﷺ are clearly visible in liberal ideology.

✔ Conclusion: The Urgent Need to Confront Liberalism Intellectually

Liberalism is not just a theoretical ideology—it is a coordinated attack on our faith, values, and identity.

To counter it effectively, we must:

① Expose its true nature
② Dispel its deceptive rhetoric
③ Take timely measures to protect the Muslim Ummah from its ideological onslaught

Only through such conscious effort can we preserve the sanctity of our faith and moral order.
