Answer:
Yes indeed!
Allah Almighty said:
إِن يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلَّا إِنَاثًا وَإِن يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَانًا مَّرِيدًا ﴿١١٧﴾ “They do not call upon anyone except female deities, and they do not call upon anyone except a rebellious Satan. Allah has cursed him, and he said, ‘I will surely take from among Your servants a specific portion. And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them false desires, and I will command them so they will cut off the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah.’ And whoever takes Satan as a guardian instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss. He promises them and arouses desire in them, but Satan does not promise them except delusion.”

The meaning of the words وَإِن يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَانًا مَّرِيدًا in these noble verses is that Satan commands the worship of women and makes it appear beautiful and adorned to them, but in reality, they are worshipping Satan because they do so by Satan’s command. So obeying Satan and worshipping others is essentially worshipping Satan.

Allah Almighty’s statement: لَّعَنَهُ اللَّـهُ means that Allah rejected him, removed him from His mercy, and expelled him from His proximity. Then Iblis said: لَأَتَّخِذَنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ نَصِيبًا, meaning I will mislead a specified portion and make them my companions.

In the tafsir of نَصِيبًا مَّفْرُوضًا, Muqatil bin Hayyan says that out of a thousand, I will lead 999 to Hell and one to Paradise. (Iblis said) وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمْ and I will mislead them from the truth. وَلَأُمَنِّيَنَّهُمْ means I will adorn for them abandonment of repentance, promise them hopes, and command them to procrastinate (saying, “I will repent later”). Remember, procrastination (i.e., saying “I will repent later” or “I will do good deeds later, I am not old yet”) is from Satan.

وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُبَتِّكُنَّ آذَانَ الْأَنْعَامِ means they will pierce the ears and use it as a sign, as with Saibah, Bayrah, and Waseelah animals.

وَلَآمُرَنَّهُمْ فَلَيُغَيِّرُنَّ خَلْقَ اللَّـهِ ۚ Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) explains this as referring to castrating animals. According to another opinion, it means “watham” (i.e., scraping flesh inside the body to make a mole and filling it with kohl). Another opinion is that it refers to “deen” (religion), but they will change the religion of Allah.

It is narrated from Iyad bin Himar Majashi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Messenger (peace be upon him) once delivered a sermon, and among his statements was this matter:

ألا إن ربي أمرني أن أعلمكم ما جهلتم وما علمني يومي هذا، كل مال نحلته عبدا حلال، وإني خلقت عبادي حنفاء كلهم، وإنهم أتتهم الشياطين فاجتالهم عن دينهم، وحرمت عليهم ما أحللت لهم، وأمرتهم أن يشركوا بي ما لم أنزل به سلطانا

“Beware! Allah Almighty has commanded me that today I teach you what He has taught me, which you do not know. Every wealth that I have given to any servant is lawful. I have created all my servants upon the Islamic nation and monotheism. Satan comes to them and turns them away from their religion, makes my lawful things forbidden for them, and commands them to associate partners with Allah, while I have not revealed any proof (command) regarding this.”
