How Many Rak‘ahs Should a Woman Pray for Jumu‘ah – At Home or in the Mosque?

Answer:
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ‘alā Rasūlillāh, ammā ba‘d!
- If a woman offers the Jumu‘ah prayer in the mosque with the imām, she will pray the same number of rak‘ahs as the imām – that is, two rak‘ahs of Jumu‘ah prayer.
- If a woman offers her prayer at home, she will perform four rak‘ahs of Zuhr prayer, because the Jumu‘ah prayer is specific to being performed in the mosque with the imām.
