أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ " حِينَ بَعَثَ إِلَى ابْنِ أَبِي الْحُقَيْقِ .
Ibn Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his uncle that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent a (military detachment) towards Ibn Abi Al-Huqaiq, he forbade the killing of women and children.
