Hadith 606

أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ ظَلَمَ مِنْ أَرْضٍ شِبْرًا طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Saeed bin Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is killed defending his wealth is a martyr, and whoever seizes land unjustly will have a collar of seven earths placed around his neck."
