عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ : فَأَقْبَلْتُ نَحْوَهُ فَانْصَرَفَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَبْلُغَهُ ، فَسَأَلْتُ : مَاذَا قَالَ ؟ قَالُوا : " نَهَى أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the people during a battle. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I also went to listen, but the sermon had ended before I arrived. I asked the people, "What did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say?" They said that he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade making nabidh (fermented drink) in gourds and in vessels coated with pitch.
