عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ يَهُودِيًّا وَيَهُودِيَّةً ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُجَانِئُ عَلَيْهَا يَقِيهَا الْحِجَارَةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stoning the Jews (in a case of adultery), and I saw the man leaning over the woman to shield her from the stones.
