It is narrated from Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) that his father, Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him), informed him that Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked (while I was also with him; Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the journey from Arafah to Muzdalifah): How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ travel? He replied: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ moved quickly, and when he found an open space, he would go even faster." Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) says that 'nas' refers to a pace faster than 'unuq' (brisk walking).
