عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الأَصَمِّ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكَحَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ مُحْرِمٍ " . قَالَ عَمْرٌو : فَحَدَّثْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ بِحَدِيثِ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ نَكَحَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الأَصَمِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَكَحَ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ مُحْرِمٍ . قَالَ عَمْرٌو : فَقُلْتُ : وَمَا يَدْرِي يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ بَوَّالٌ ؟ ! أَتَجْعَلَهُ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؟ ! .
It is narrated from Yazid bin Asam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), his (Yazid’s) maternal aunt, and he (the Prophet) was not in the state of ihram. In the narration of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), it is stated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of ihram. Amr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I narrated the hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) to Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him), so Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated the hadith of Yazid bin Asam (may Allah have mercy on him). Amr (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I said, “What does Yazid (may Allah have mercy on him) know? He is a villager who urinates frequently. Do you consider him equal to Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both)?”
