عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ بِلالا يُنَادِي بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُنَادِيَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed, Bilal gives the call to prayer at night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum gives the call to prayer." (Then stop.)
