Hadith 21

وَأَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أُمَامَةَ ابْنَةَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهِيَ لأَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسٍ , فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا , وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer while carrying Sayyida Umamah bint Zaynab bint Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him), who was the daughter of Sayyiduna Abu al-As ibn Rabi' ibn Abd Shams (may Allah be pleased with him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) would go into prostration, he would put her down, and when he stood up, he would pick her up again.
