عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلا بَعْدَ أَنْ تُؤَبَّرَ فَثَمَرُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ إِلا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sells date-palm trees after they have been pollinated, the fruit belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates otherwise."
