حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: «إِنْ أَكْرَهَهُ اللُّصُوصُ فَطَلَّقَ فَلَا يَجُوزُ، وَإِنْ أَكْرَهَهُ السُّلْطَانُ فَطَلَّقَ فَهُوَ جَائِزٌ»
Hazrat Aamir Sha’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If divorce is given under the compulsion of a bandit, it is not valid; if it is given under the compulsion of the ruler, it is valid.
