أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ قَعْنَبٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حُرْمَةُ نِسَاءِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ كَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ، وَمَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَاعِدِينَ يَخْلُفُ رَجُلًا فِي أَهْلِهِ إِلَّا نُصِبَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقِيلَ: هَذَا خَلَفُكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ فَخُذْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ مَا شِئْتَ ". فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " مَا ظَنُّكُمْ؟ "..
Ibn Buraydah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sanctity (honour) of the wives of the fighters upon those who stay at home is like the sanctity of their own mothers. If any of those who stay at home betrays a fighter in the matter of his family, he will be made to stand on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said (to the fighter): 'This man betrayed you in your family, so take as much of his good deeds as you wish.'" Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) looked towards us and said: "What do you think?"
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا قَعْنَبٌ التَّمِيمِيُّ، وَكَانَ ثِقَةً خِيَارًا فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: " يَا فُلَانُ هَذَا فُلَانُ بْنُ فُلَانٍ خَانَكَ فَخُذْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ مَا شِئْتَ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الثَّوْرِيِّ وَمِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ.
Qa'nab al-Tamimi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it will be said: "O so-and-so! This is so-and-so son of so-and-so, who betrayed you in your family; take as many of his good deeds as you wish."
