أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الِحَكَمِ، أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَائِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ ⦗٢٩١⦘ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ وَالصِّيَامَ وَالذِّكْرَ تُضَاعَفُ عَلَى النَّفَقَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ بِسَبْعِمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ ".
Sahl bin Mu'adh bin Anas al-Juhani narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The reward of prayer, fasting and remembrance (of Allah) is multiplied up to seven hundred times over that of spending in the path of Allah."
وأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَائِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْفَ آيَةٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَتَبَهُ اللهُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ.
Sahl bin Mu'adh al-Juhani (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites a thousand verses in the path of Allah, Allah, the Lord of Might, will grant him the company of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous."
