أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ، بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أنبأ وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ثنا هِشَامٌ، أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلِيَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ نُسْخَةَ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِي عِنْدَ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ الَّذِي، كَتَبَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، فَإِذَا فِيهِ: " فِي الْأَنْفِ إِذَا أُوعِبَ جَدْعُهُ الدِّيَةُ كَامِلَةً، وَفِي الْعَيْنِ نِصْفُ الدِّيَةِ، وَفِي الْمَأْمُومَةِ ثُلُثُ الدِّيَةِ، وَفِي الْجَائِفَةِ ثُلُثُ الدِّيَةِ، وَفِي الْمُوضِحَةِ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ، وَفِي السِّنِّ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ، وَفِي كُلِّ إِصْبَعٍ هُنَا لِكَ عَشَرَةٌ عَشَرَةٌ " وَقَدْ رُوِّينَاهُ مِنْ أَوْجُهٍ أُخَرَ مُرْسَلًا وَمَوْصُولًا.
Yahya bin Abi Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Yahya bin Sa'id (may Allah have mercy on him) wrote and sent me the copy that was with Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had written and given to Amr bin Hazm (may Allah be pleased with him). In it was: "When the nose is cut off from the root, there is the full blood money for it; for an eye half the blood money; for the extremely deep head wound and for the abdominal wound that reaches the intestines, one third of the blood money for a life; for the wound that exposes the bone and for a tooth, five camels each; and all the fingers are equal, for each finger 10 camels."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: فِي الْجَائِفَةِ الثُّلُثُ، وَفِي الْآمَّةِ الثُّلُثُ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "For an abdominal wound and for the head wound that reaches the brain, there is one third of the blood money for a life."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْأَرْدِسْتَانِيُّ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الدَّارَابَجِرْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا، رَمَى رَجُلًا فَأَصَابَتْهُ جَائِفَةٌ فَخَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْجَانِبِ الْآخَرِ، فَقَضَى فِيهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِثُلُثَيِ الدِّيَةِ.
Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says: A man shot another with an arrow, which struck him in the abdomen and came out of the other side, so Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) ruled two thirds of the blood money for a life.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، ثنا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَضَى فِي الْجَائِفَةِ نَفَذَتْ بِثُلُثَيِ الدِّيَةِ.
