قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: أَعْجَلُ مَنْ سَمِعْتُ بِهِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ يَحِضْنَ نِسَاءُ تِهَامَةَ يَحِضْنَ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ.
Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Of the women I have heard about, the earliest to menstruate are the women of Tihamah, who menstruate at the age of nine."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ قَالَا: نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَحْمُودٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَيْرُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الضَّبِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ⦗٦٩١⦘ الْمُهَلَّبِيُّ قَالَ: " أَدْرَكْتُ فِينَا يَعْنِي الْمَهَالِبَةَ امْرَأَةً صَارَتْ جَدَّةً وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ وَلَدَتْ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ ابْنَةً فَوَلَدَتِ ابْنَتُهَا لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ فَصَارَتْ جَدَّةً وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ ".
It is narrated from Abbad bin Abbad al-Muhallabi that he said: Among us, that is, the Muhallabis, I came across a woman who became a grandmother at the age of eighteen. She gave birth to a daughter at the age of nine, and her daughter also gave birth at the age of nine, so she became a grandmother at the age of eighteen.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، نا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، نا اللَّيْثُ، أَنَّ أَبَا صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ " ابْنَةً لَهُ حَمَلَتْ وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ عَشْرِ سِنِينَ ".
It is narrated from al-Layth (may Allah have mercy on him) that Abu Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated to him from a man, who informed him that a daughter of his became pregnant when she was ten years old.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ، أنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، نا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْدَبُ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي كَاتِبِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، " أَنَّ امْرَأَةً فِي جِوَارِهِمْ حَمَلَتْ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ " وَقَدْ ذَكَرْنَا سَائِرَ الْحِكَايَاتِ فِيهِ فِي كِتَابِ الْحَيْضِ.
Abu Sa'id al-Khawlani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ibn Wahb (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated to me; he said: al-Layth (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated to me; al-Layth (may Allah have mercy on him) said: My scribe Abdullah bin Salih (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated to me that a woman in their neighbourhood became pregnant when she was nine years old. And we have mentioned all the other accounts about this in the Book of Menstruation.
