It is narrated from Sayyidah Umaymah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to urinate in a wooden bowl and then place it under his bed. One day he (peace and blessings be upon him) urinated and placed it under the bed. He (peace and blessings be upon him) came and intended to throw it (out), but the bowl was empty. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a woman named Barakah, who was the servant of Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) and had come from Abyssinia: "Where is the urine that was in this bowl?" She said: O Messenger of Allah, I drank it.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was cupped and gave me his blood, and said: "Take it away quickly (and bury it somewhere) so that no beast of prey, dog or human finds it." He said: I went off and (on the way) I drank that blood. Then I came to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What did you do (with the blood)?" I said: As you commanded me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I think you must have drunk it." I said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What will my Ummah encounter from you!"

Burayh bin Umar bin Safinah narrates from his grandfather, Sayyiduna Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was cupped and then said to me: "Take this blood and hide it from the animals and birds," or he said: "Hide it from the people and the animals" (Ibn Abi Fudayk was unsure). He said: I went out of sight and drank it. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me, and I told him that I had drunk it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed.
