أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ فَارِسٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " خَيْرُ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ، ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، ثُمَّ بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، وَبَنُو سَاعِدَةَ، وَفِي كُلِّ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ " قَالَ: فَقِيلَ: فَضَّلَ عَلَيْنَا، قَالَ: فَقِيلَ: قَدْ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ، وَأَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ. وَقَالَ: " ثُمَّ بَنُو سَاعِدَةَ " وَقَالَ فِيهِ: فَقَالَ سَعْد ٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُبَادَةَ: مَا أَرَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا قَدْ فَضَّلَ عَلَيْنَا، فَقِيلَ: قَدْ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ.
It is narrated from Abu Usayd al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of the houses of the Ansar are Banu al-Najjar, then Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then Banu al-Harith, and Banu Sa'idah, and in all the houses of the Ansar there is good." It was said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) has preferred (others) over us. Then it was said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) has preferred you over many.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَشِيُّ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي خُرُوجِهِ وَرُجُوعِهِ، قَالَ: حَتَّى أَشْرَفْنَا عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ: " هَذِهِ طَابَةُ، وَهَذَا أُحُدٌ، وَهُوَ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " إِنَّ خَيْرَ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ دَارُ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ، ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ، وَفِي كُلِّ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ ". فَلَحِقَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، فَقَالَ أَبُو أُسَيْدٍ: أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيَّرَ دُورَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَجَعَلْنَا آخِرَهَا دَارًا؟ فَأَدْرَكَ سَعْدٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، خَيَّرْتَ دُورَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَجَعَلْتَنَا آخِرَهَا، فَقَالَ: " أَوَلَيْسَ بِحَسْبِكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْخِيَارِ؟ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنِ الْقَعْنَبِيِّ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that we went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the expedition of Tabuk. (The narrator) described the whole going out and returning, until we came to Madinah, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is Tabah, and this is Uhud; it is a mountain that loves us and we love it." Then he said: "The best of the houses of the Ansar are the houses of Banu al-Najjar, then the houses of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then the houses of Banu al-Harith, then the houses of Banu Sa'idah, and in all the houses of the Ansar there is good." Then we met Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Abu Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Did you not see that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has ranked the houses of the Ansar and placed us last? So Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! You have ranked the houses of the Ansar and placed us last? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is it not enough for you that you are among the best?"
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْغَضَائِرِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الدَّقِيقِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، ثنا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ سَبَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ فِي الْفَيْءِ حَقٌّ، يَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {لِلْفُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ ⦗٦٠٥⦘ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِنَ اللهِ وَرِضْوَانًا} [الحشر: ٨] الْآيَةَ، هَؤُلَاءِ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا مَعَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ {وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُوا الدَّارَ وَالْإِيمَانَ} الْآيَةَ، هَؤُلَاءِ الْأَنْصَارُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ {وَالَّذِينَ جَاءُوا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ} "، قَالَ مَالِكٌ: " فَاسْتَثْنَى الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ {يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ} [الحشر: ١٠] الْآيَةَ، فَالْفَيْءُ لِهَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثَةِ، فَمَنْ سَبَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَيْسَ هُوَ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ الثَّلَاثَةِ، وَلَا حَقَّ لَهُ فِي الْفَيْءِ ".
Ma'n bin Isa (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Malik bin Anas (may Allah have mercy on him) saying: Whoever reviles the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has no right in the fay'. Allah Almighty says: "For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and (His) pleasure" [Surah al-Hashr: 8]; this verse is about the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who emigrated with him (peace and blessings be upon him). Then He said: "And those who settled in the home and (adopted) the faith" [Surah al-Hashr: 9]; these are the Ansar. Then He said: "And those who came after them" [Surah al-Hashr: 10]. Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Allah Almighty has made a specification, saying: "They say: Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith" [Surah al-Hashr: 10]. So the fay' is for these three, and whoever reviles the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is not among these three, and he has no right in the fay'.
