أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَطَّارُ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: رَأَى سَعْدٌ أَنَّ لَهُ فَضْلًا عَلَى مَنْ دُونَهُ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّمَا يَنْصُرُ اللهُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِضُعَفَائِهِمْ، بِصَلَاتِهِمْ وَدَعْوَتِهِمْ " رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ.
Mus'ab bin Sa'd (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) considered that he had superiority over others, so he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty helps them only because of their weak ones, and because of their prayers and their supplications."
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَبْغُونِي الضُّعَفَاءَ؛ فَإِنَّمَا تُرْزَقُونَ وَتُنْصَرُونَ بِضُعَفَائِكُمْ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek me among your weak ones, for you are given provision and you are helped only because of your weak ones."
