أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَقْطَعَ بِلَالَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ الْمُزَنِيَّ مَعَادِنَ الْقَبَلِيَّةِ، وَهِيَ مِنْ نَاحِيَةِ الْفُرْعِ، فَتِلْكَ الْمَعَادِنُ لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا إِلَّا الزَّكَاةُ إِلَى الْيَوْمِ ".
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted Bilal bin al-Harith al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) the mines of al-Qabaliyyah, in the direction of al-Fur', as a fief. Nothing was taken from those mines except zakah, up to this day.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الدِّيلِيِّ، وَعَنْ خَالِهِ مُوسَى بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ مَوْلَى بَنِي الدِّيلِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " أَعْطَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَالَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ الْمُزَنِيَّ مَعَادِنَ الْقَبَلِيَّةِ جَلْسِيَّهَا وَغَوْرِيَّهَا وَحَيْثُ يَصْلُحُ الزَّرْعُ ".
It is reported from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave Sayyiduna Bilal bin al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) the mines of al-Qabaliyyah, both its highland and its lowland parts, and wherever cultivation was suitable.
