أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَا: أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ: عَنِ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ، وَعَنِ الْمَعْتُوهِ حَتَّى يُفِيقَ، وَعَنِ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ ".
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The pen is lifted from three: from the child until he reaches puberty, from the insane until he recovers, and from the sleeper until he wakes up."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ السُّكَّرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وُضِعَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي الْخَطَأُ وَالنِّسْيَانُ وَمَا اسْتُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ " وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَنْبِجِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُصَفَّى، وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Mistakes, forgetfulness and what they are coerced into have been pardoned for my Ummah."
The preserved (mahfuz) version from al-Walid bin Muslim is: from al-Awza'i, from Ata, from Ibn Abbas; and from al-Walid, from Ibn Lahi'ah, from Musa bin Wardan, from Uqbah bin Amir, both of them from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
